As the owner and CEO of Salt & Light Publications, founder of ASC Ministry Enterprises, and the visionary leader behind Hope Academy Charter School, Dr. Crawford’s impact spans education, ministry, and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Crawford’s educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science in health and physical education from The College of New Jersey, where she became the first in her family to earn a college degree. Her passion for education led her to become a health and physical education teacher and the founder of Project Hope, an afterschool program designed to support children, especially those facing difficulties, during after-school hours.

To integrate faith into her work, Dr. Crawford pursued a master’s degree in urban missions at Westminster Theological Seminary. She furthered her education with a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration, obtaining certification as a supervisor and principal. Driven by her commitment to education, she founded Hope Academy Charter School, where she served as the chief school administrator, transforming the lives of students and their families.

In 2021, Dr. Crawford earned her doctorate in strategic leadership with a concentration and certification in global consulting from Regent University. She founded ASC Ministry Enterprises to offer consulting and leadership training services, sharing her expertise through books and podcasts.

Dr. Crawford’s most significant accomplishment remains the establishment of Hope Academy Charter School, where entire households benefited. Students gained access to high-level high schools, while parents were encouraged to pursue their educational goals. Her work has touched countless lives, fostering a culture of learning and empowerment.

With a career spanning three decades, Dr. Crawford’s contributions to education, ministry, and entrepreneurship have earned her numerous awards and accolades. She was honored with the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Heroine Award from Monmouth University, the Educational Achievement Award from The Central Jersey Club of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club, and recognition from the New Jersey state senate, earning her a place in the hall of fame.

Dr. Crawford attributes her success to the unwavering support and belief of her parents, especially her mother, whose recognition of her achievements served as a constant source of motivation.

Looking ahead, Dr. Crawford’s future goals include traveling overseas to provide workshops and consulting services and establishing compounds in partnership with the Apostolic Center New Jersey to empower individuals through education and self-sufficiency.
