Washington, DC— Prominently featured in The Inner Circle, Dr. Barbara E. Baxter is acknowledged as a Top Pinnacle Professional for her contributions to the Dental Field.
Dr. Baxter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygienics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She worked for 2 years as a dental hygienist before earning her DMD at Tufts University in Boston. She worked with her father, and eventually purchased his practice, which she operated for 20 years prior to her current position.
Dr. Baxter currently practices in Washington DC. and specializes in preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases and conditions associated with the mouth and overall dental health. According to the doctor, dentists are trained to carry out such treatment as professional cleaning restorative prosthodontic and endodontic procedures and performing examinations among many others.
Dr. Baxter is associated with the American Dental Association (ADA), DC Dental Society; and Greater Washington Academy of Women Dentists. She sponsors underprivileged children through the organization Unbound.
She would like to dedicate this honor in loving memory of her father, George Baxter, DMD.
