A set of hospitals run by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs in the New York City area, the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System comprises of three medical centers, two community outpatient clinics, and five veterans centers.

With over 23 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Ng specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation with a focus on muscular-skeletal disorders, Neuro-Muscular Disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, stroke,  joint disorder, pain management,  post- concussive syndrome, electromyography,  palliative care, etc.

During her education and training, Dr. Ng obtained her Bachelors degree from Cornell University in Biology and Chemistry, her Master degree from New York University in Nutrition, her Doctorate of Medicine from SUNY Heath Science Center in Brooklyn, her Medical Internship at the New York Beekman Downtown Hospital in lower Manhattan, and completed a her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at NYU.

To further her education and training, Dr. Ng is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Additionally, Dr. Ng donates her time to veterans with post-concussive syndrome, and comfort care through music/songs.

Goals in her practice of medicine:  Improve the function of the whole person which also includes applied neuroplasticity through active listening, asking the right questions, empathy, compassion, education, constructive problem solving and guidance.

In her free time, Dr. Ng enjoys spending time with her children and her family, including gardening and bicycling.

Dr. Ng is married to her husband, Terry and has 2 children, Penny and Jason. She dedicates this recognition to her father Kok Toong Ng and in loving memory of her mother, Choong Kam Ng.
