Diego Saporta, MD, FAAO-HNS, FACS from Elizabeth, NJ is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top ENT doctor in General Otolaryngology and allergic conditions.
He is the medical director of Associates in ENT & Allergy located at 470 North Ave, Elizabeth NJ where patients receive help managing their allergic conditions, including asthma. Associates in ENT & Allergy, provide complete ENT care including complete audiological evaluations, for both, pediatric and adult populations. While Dr. Saporta specializes in Otolaryngic Allergy, his associate Dr. Jonathan Cohen specializes in the management of surgical problems pertaining to ENT and Head and Neck, including benign and cancerous conditions.
With almost thirty years of experience, Dr. Saporta’s dedication to his patients is unwavering. His approach to the management of allergic conditions is holistic and includes the role of the patient’s environment in triggering and worsening allergic conditions and health in general. Dr. Saporta is part of the Faculty at the Pan American Allergy Society where he has served as the president of the Society twice. In these courses, other physicians and allied personnel receive training in the management of allergic conditions. Dr. Saporta is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and American College of Surgeons and he is on the board of the New Jersey Academy of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Saporta earned a medical degree and completed an ENT residency at the Republic’s University from Montevideo-Uruguay. He then spent one year at the research Laboratory in the ENT Department of the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in New York City and subsequently completed an ENT residency at the Presbyterian Hospital in New York City, becoming Board Certified in 1990.
Besides his career accomplishments, keeping a very busy practice in the field of allergy and immunotherapy and teaching about his experience and treatment methods, he has published several articles about the management of the allergic conditions and relating his experience accumulated over many years of practice.
