Joshua A. Daisy, Vice President — Distinguished Executive, Administrator, and Educator

Chicago, IL — Joshua A. Daisy, Vice President, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Executive, Administrator, and Educator in the Preparedness Education and Consultation Services fields and in acknowledgment of his work with Red Line Preparedness.          

Red Line Preparedness was created in 2019 in response to the changing dynamic of emergency response in America. Initially founded in 2011 as South Suburban EMS Education, Red Line Preparedness has grown from providing continuing education and American Heart Association courses to offering a complete range of preparedness education and consultation services. Its offerings include first aid, CPR, public safety consulting classes, corporate security, threat assessment, active shooter training, and trauma preparedness. All staff members are experts in their field and have a long track record in public safety and preparedness.

With ten years in his current role as Vice President, Mr. Daisy has served as a paramedic for 20 years and spent 17 years of his career working with the Chicago Fire Department.

In pursuit of higher education, Mr. Daisy graduated with an MBA in 2022 from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL. In 2019, he completed his Master’s Degree in Public Safety with a specialization in Homeland Security Management at the same academic institution. In addition, Mr. Daisy is certified in CPR as a paramedic. He has extensive training in first aid and public safety consulting and is skilled in trauma response, active shooter preparedness, and dealing with traumatic injuries. In addition, Mr. Daisy also sells trauma gear.

In his spare time, Mr. Daisy volunteers at the Illinois Special Olympics, giving free classes. He also enjoys family time and outdoor activities near the water, such as swimming, scuba diving, boating, fishing, and tubing.

Looking to the future, he hopes to grow Red Line Preparedness by increasing sales and doing more consulting work. He attributes much of his success to being motivated, continuously learning, and helping people.
