Northridge, CA – Katherine Jean Galos, M.D., F.A.C.P., is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of medicine as a Pediatrician with El Proyecto Del Barrio.
El Proyecto Del Barrio’s Family Health Care Clinics provides quality preventive and primary health care. Dr. Katherine Jean Galos has more than 50 years’ experience in pediatric medicine working with El Proyecto Del Barrio’s Northridge Branch for 9 years’ experience in general pediatrics managing the health of children, including physical, behavior, and mental health issues. Dr. Galos attributes her success to establishing a comfort level with not only her patients but the parents as well. She focuses on the child more than the parents by developing a line of communication with the child and being able to listen and be approachable.
Prior to embarking on her journey into pediatrics, Dr. Galos attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin earning her Medical Degree in 1963. After medical school, she went on to complete an internship for a year at the University of Miami and returned to the University of Wisconsin Medical School for her residency.
In her free time, Dr. Galos enjoys playing the violin for the local symphony in Moorpark, California.
