Marc Cromie, MD — Outstanding Healthcare Professional

Chattanooga, TN — Marc Cromie, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as an Outstanding Healthcare Professional in Allergy and Immunology and in acknowledgment of his work with the Chattanooga Allergy Clinic.

A highly trained, board-certified Allergist and Immunologist with more than 27 years of experience in his field, Dr. Cromie serves as the Senior Physician at Chattanooga Allergy Clinic, where he oversees ten office locations comprising of over fifteen physicians and nurse practitioners. He has been in his current position for over 20 years.

Specializing in allergic conditions, infections, and asthma, Dr. Cromie treats children and adults. As an asthma sufferer himself, Dr. Cromie empathizes with the challenges his patients deal with in controlling the disorder.

In recognition of his dedication and excellence, he was named the Paul Harris Fellow Award recipient. Additionally, he has been voted Best Allergist and Best of the Best by the Chattanooga Times Free Press every year for over a decade.

Dr. Cromie earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Georgia in 1991 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995. He completed his Pediatric Residency at the Erlanger Medical Center/TC Thompson Children’s Hospital in 1998 and a Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Medical College of Georgia in 2000. He is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology through the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI).

Dr. Cromie is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He maintains an active affiliation with the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement and as a member of Rotary International.

In his free time, Dr. Cromie enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family, including his wife, Elizabeth and their five children. He would like to dedicate this honorable recognition to his mentors, Hyman Kaplan, MD, and Betty Wray, MD.
