Ontario, Canada — Pamela Van Nest is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Professional as the Founder and Life Coach at PVN Coaching.
A retired educator, Ms. Van Nest, has accrued 38 years of professional excellence in special education teaching. She was inspired to enter the field by her younger brother’s short life, who was born with Down Syndrome. After seeing a life coach towards the end of her teaching career, she became motivated to give back to others. She began her life coaching business, PVN Coaching, in 2012.
Throughout her life coaching career, Ms. Van Nest has garnered a well-deserving reputation as an expert at guiding women. She has been coaching individuals, leading workshops, retreats and speaking to women about how and why their inner self-talk can hold them back from creating the life they want. Combined with her experience as a teacher, consultant, and instructional coach, Ms. Van Nest’s integration of the Twelve Step process has provided her with insights into how fear and low self-esteem can lead to self-doubt and perfectionism and result in self-defeating thinking.
Among her academic achievements, Ms. Van Nest holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Toronto. She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, A Certified Associate Coach through the International Coach Federation, and a Group Certified Coach.
In honor of her brother, Ms. Van Nest is currently offering 70 coaching sessions to raise funds for an organization, Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough, that helps families when their child is born with Down Syndrome. The fundraiser is running until March 12th, 2021.
In her spare time, Ms. Van Nest enjoys cross country skiing, kayaking, and exercising. She currently devotes her time to her local Chamber of Commerce and Toastmasters.
