St. Petersburg, FL— Ralph Walter Mosgrove is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Service Member for his contributions in the ministry field.
Mr. Mosgrove graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in international studies in 1977 and subsequently earned a doctorate in divinity through United Bible College and Seminary in Orlando, Florida in 1982. He served with the U.S. Navy for 26 years as a senior chief petty officer and was part of the U.S. Navy Fleet Reserve for four years.
Mr. Mosgrove is an author, musician, and pastor for the Church of the Nazarene. He worked as a choir director and organist at MacDill Chapel in the MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida from 2000 to 2013. He also served at the Church of the Nazarene from 1975 to 2000 as an author, musician and pastor.
Mr. Mosgrove volunteers his time at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida and serves as the vice president for the Lealman Project Corporation, a charitable organization. He is the author of “Saying I Love You and Beyond: Is Saying I love You Enough,” published in 2020, and “Saying Thanks and Beyond: Is Saying Thank You Enough,” published in 2018. Both books received Pinnacle Book Achievement Awards for Best Inspirational Books.
Mr. Mosgrove attributes his success to his strong faith, a devotion he found as a child in vacation bible school that has been with him throughout his life. According to Mr. Mosgrove, he was inspired to pursue ministry during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, during which time he ministered to the public. He plans to write novels in the future and will continue serving the community as a spiritual leader.
