Rhonda G. Whittie-Bradford is a respected Hospitalist who works in the emergency room and ICU. In her current role at Valley View Hospital, Dr. Whittie-Bradford works with patients who are critically ill or injured.
Dr. Whittie-Bradford has been at Valley View Hospital for five years, and has 26 years total of experience in the Medical field. In the emergency room and ICU, she sees patients with surgical complications, trauma, injuries, serious diseases, and more. As a Hospitalist, she works with patients only during their time in the hospital, working with the most critically ill or injured patients. Dr. Whittie-Bradford provides high-level care to patients who need the most intensive healthcare available.
Located at 1906 Blake Avenue in Glenwood Springs, CO, Valley View Hospital is a 400,000 square foot medical center spanning 21 acres. Dr. Whittie-Bradford is certified to practice medicine in both Colorado and Virginia. She is affiliated with Aspen Valley Hospital, Culpeper Medical Center, and Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.
Before starting her career in Medicine, Dr. Whittie-Bradford attended school at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She then attended the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN, earning her Medical degree. After that, Dr. Whittie-Bradford attended a residency in Internal Medicine and Preventative Medicine and MSPH at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Whittie-Bradford is board-certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. The ABIM is a non-profit physician-led organization that provides independent evaluations for doctors who want to achieve higher standards of patient care in an ever-changing world.
To remain up-to-date in the field, Dr. Whittie-Bradford is a Fellow of the American Board of Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the American Medical Association.
To give back to the local community, Dr. Whittie-Bradford also provides monthly disability examinations for veterans in the Manassas area. She loves to give back to her community and help those in need.
On a personal note, Dr. Whittie-Bradford has been married to Mr. Ira Bradford for 15 years. She loves spending time with her family, including her 4 children.
