The CIBC U.S. provides tailored commercial and personal banking services, private wealth management and small business financial solutions tailored to citizens’ needs across the United States Region. As the Chief Human Resources Officer, Vicki L. Znavor is responsible for developing and executing strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, employee and client management change in management, organizational skills, and overall performance.
Vicki Znavor has 27 years’ experience in Human Resources and has seven years’ experience in her current position with the CIBC U.S. Human Resources is the department of businesses or organizations that deal with the hiring, administration, and training of personnel best fit for the position. Her goals are to always be in a position to help people and someday work for a for-profit board.
After receiving her MBA from DePaul University in 2009, Mrs. Znavor has been an invited member of The Society for Human Resource Management. She is also a board member of numerous organizations such as the American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois, Youth Guidance, and a board member of the100 Club of Chicago while also donating and volunteering to various charitable organizations.
In recognition for her honors in the 2019, Alpha Most Powerful Latinos is, and as 2020 Crane Chicago Business Most Notable Leader in HR, she has also been awarded the IABC Gold Quill Award. Mrs. Znavor attributes her success to the philosophy of letting people help you and always being inquisitive.
In her free time, Mrs. Znavor enjoys cooking, hiking, and reading, and spending time with her husband Tom Znavor.
