About Me
Jasmine Harris is a dedicated education advocate and community leader committed to strengthening family engagement and advancing early childhood education across Louisiana. As Senior Associate of Family Engagement for Save the Children Action Network, she works closely with Head Start programs, community organizations, and local policymakers to elevate parent voices, strengthen grassroots advocacy, and expand access to early learning resources in rural communities. Ms. Harris earned a Master of Arts in Adult Learning and Development and Continuing Education Administration and a Bachelor of Music from McNeese State University, both in 2009. Her diverse background includes higher education administration, Head Start programming, parent engagement, community based education, and disaster recovery coordination. Throughout her career, she has helped secure funding for early learning initiatives, launched programs that empower families, and fostered meaningful civic participation by connecting parents directly with education leaders and policymakers. Recognized as an Influential Woman in 2026, Ms. Harris remains committed to promoting equity, service, and parent leadership while pursuing new opportunities to expand the impact of education advocacy and family engagement.
