Kelva Clay, MA, is a dedicated nonprofit professional with over 12 years of experience in community services, revenue generation, and grant writing. She specializes in strategic planning, budget forecasting, and building connections with foundations to support sustainable impact. Currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership Studies at Our Lady of the Lake University (expected 2029), Kelva also holds a master’s in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Houston–Downtown.

She has contributed to national discussions on teen pregnancy prevention and youth engagement through publications with the Houston Public Defender and the National Prevention Family Youth Bureau. Outside of her work, Kelva enjoys reading, DIY projects, and shopping. Her long-term goal is to become a CEO in the nonprofit sector, continuing her mission as a lifelong learner and changemaker.
