About Me
Dr. Jennifer Garrison is a retired Air Force Colonel with over 24 years of senior healthcare executive experience and is a Certified Emergency Planner through the International Agency of Emergency Management. As a current Vice President serving in Federal Health at Maximus, my role is focused on whole health, working with federal health agencies to provide efficient and equal access to care through optimized delivery of services, programs, and systems that provide connected positive outcomes in all areas of life and provide the highest quality health services to our Service Members, their families, and Veterans. Before joining Maximus, she served as Director of Global Medical Affairs Strategy & Execution at Johnson & Johnson, following her selection for an 18-month military veteran leadership fellowship. Dr. Garrison's 20 years in the federal government and military included senior leadership roles in hospitals and clinics with deployments to Jordan and Qatar.

In her last assignment in the Air Force, serving at the Defense Health Agency, she excelled in multiple roles, including Assistant Director of Staff and Deputy Assistant Director for Operational Medicine. She established the first Operations Center to streamline communication across the agency and managed a joint operational dashboard for 451 military treatment facilities. Dr. Garrison also led the Department of Defense's COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Operation Planning Team, overseeing vaccinations of over 11 million personnel for the Department of Defense.

Dr. Garrison holds a bachelor’s degree in business management, a master’s degree in human resource management, and a Doctorate in Health Services, with another Doctorate in Business Administration expected in 2026. A sought-after keynote speaker, she advises healthcare corporations on integrated strategies. She enjoys running, being a mother of an Eagle Scout (son) and a Cardiac Nurse (daughter), mentoring young healthcare administrators, and serving on the Boy Scouts Committee of Troop 071. She attributes her success to her husband, Lt Col (Retired) Greg Garrison.
