Azalea Renfield, CEO, is an economic & community development leader focused on reparative development (place-based development) and the path forward after urban renewal damage across the nation. With more than a decade of leadership experience in public policy and public administration, she is recognized for advancing projects that strengthen communities. Ms. Renfield holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco, a Master of Public Policy from McGeorge Law School, and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University. Among her notable achievements, she’s leading a 1.7-acre $163 million multi-pronged community, economic, and housing development project supported by significant government funding. She has also spoken at Harvard University about the innovative project and has been recognized by the New York Times and several news outlets for her contributions in her field. She’s a professional who remains committed to scaling reparative development efforts nationwide.
