Ed Conter is a hospitality professional with more than three decades of experience in country club and hospitality management. He oversees club operations at Briarwood, where he manages a team of approximately 120 employees while ensuring the delivery of exceptional member services and maintaining high operational standards. Mr. Conter holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Harper College and has built a distinguished career in the industry since beginning in 1990. His professional journey started as a locker room attendant at Hillcrest Country Club, where he steadily advanced through leadership roles before joining Briarwood, where he has served in his current position for more than two decades. Prior to immigrating to the United States, he worked as a high school and junior high school teacher in Mexico. Mr. Conter is affiliated with the PGA Golf Professional Association and the Club Management Association of America and remains committed to leadership, teamwork, and continuous improvement in hospitality operations.
