Robert J. Bly is a senior executive advisor and chief executive officer of RJB Business Advisors, with forty years of leadership experience across retail, travel centers, supermarkets, restaurants, and franchise operations. He provides consulting to chief executives, boards, private equity firms, and entrepreneurs, specializing in operational improvement, financial visibility, and leadership development.
A graduate of Purdue Global with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, graduating summa cum laude, Mr. Bly is known for delivering measurable impact, including operational transformations that generated more than one hundred million dollars in savings for one organization and more than three hundred million for another.
He has held executive leadership roles with Meijer, Sears Holdings, SUPERVALU/Shoppers Food & Pharmacy, Kmart, Buehler’s Fresh Foods, and Road Ranger LLC, serving in positions including chief operating officer and president. In addition to his professional work, he serves as Board Chair for TMCI and on two church boards, supporting community and faith-based initiatives.
