Amanda Cooper is a seasoned leader in the commercial lending industry, bringing over 20 years of mortgage experience, including more than a decade specializing in Non-QM products. Currently serving in a senior leadership role at Champions Funding, Amanda has played a critical part in driving the company’s recent success, spearheading a fivefold growth within just 12 months. Her background includes building and managing a Non-QM underwriting team of 75 professionals, overseeing production that exceeded $450 million in monthly closings.
With an associate’s degree from Laurel Business School (2000), Amanda is known for her exceptional credit expertise and passion for developing new talent. She is a firm believer in creating future leaders and takes pride in mentoring individuals to “take her seat.” Her approach to leadership is rooted in collaboration, vision, and a commitment to excellence.
