Hello
David L. Young
VP Pharmacy Operations
Raynham, MA
About Me
David L. Young is a dedicated executive in the healthcare industry, known for his ability to lead with empathy, accountability, and calm under pressure. With expertise in leadership, management, pharmacy, and strategic forecasting, David is often tasked with “putting out fires” at the executive level, handling everything from critical reviews to final approvals—“signing on the dotted line.”
He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Legal Law (MLL) from Texas A&M, expected in 2025, enhancing his already broad skill set in healthcare leadership. David serves on the Board of Directors for both Fenway Health and Allied Health, and is a member of the Massachusetts Pharmacy Association, reflecting his deep commitment to advancing health outcomes and governance in the field.
Career-wise, David takes the greatest pride in his empathetic leadership style, always striving to develop those around him while maintaining accountability. Personally, he is most proud of his four children, especially his youngest, a two-year-old, who brings daily inspiration.
Outside the office, David enjoys sports, fantasy football, and scary movies, embracing both strategy and fun. Looking forward, his goals include continued growth, professional development, and eventually passing the torch—“handing off the keys” to the next generation of leaders. Guided by a philosophy rooted in humility, composure, and role modeling, David continues to make a lasting impact on the healthcare landscape.
