Dr. Kim Shaffer Kirkman is the CEO of the largest nonprofit hospice in Arkansas, where she provides executive leadership, oversees staff, leads fundraising initiatives, and advocates for palliative care for rural patients. With an EdD in Higher Education from Harding University, she is deeply committed to mentoring future leaders and advancing community-focused healthcare. Her published works include her dissertation on mentorship, the book The Simple Secret, and features in Arkansas Business. Honored by Alpha Kai Honor Society and ODK Leadership Society, Dr. Kirkman continues to balance her professional achievements with a strong dedication to family, including her four children and seven grandchildren. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, hiking, and outdoor activities with her husband. Looking ahead, she plans to expand her service through mentoring, volunteering, and active roles with ASU College of Business, Rotary, and the Chamber of Commerce.
