About Me
Eric J. Ellman is an accomplished professional in governmental affairs and public policy, specializing in financial inclusion, particularly for the 65 million unbanked individuals in the United States. He holds a JD from the University of Baltimore, obtained in 1992, and has a wealth of experience in lecturing and consulting internationally. Eric is actively involved with various organizations, serving on the Board of Directors for the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Greater Washington and participating in the Patient and Family Advisory Council at Suburban Hospital/Hopkins Medicine. He has previously held the position of Vice Chair on the Board of the Credit Builders Alliance. His published works include blogs, op-eds, and articles focused on financial inclusion. Outside of his professional endeavors, Eric enjoys reading, hiking, and cycling, and he is a devoted father to two teenage daughters. Looking ahead, he aims to become an adjunct professor, write a book, and lead a trade association or governmental affairs firm, driven by his philosophy of hard work, dedication, preparation, and a touch of luck.
