About Me
Julio Irving Cotto is a passionate leader in non-profit and leadership development, specializing in youth leadership, intergenerational collaboration, and education coordination across Latin America and the Eastern U.S. In a role akin to COO, he oversees 13 leaders, focusing on recruitment, program expansion, and partnerships with schools and universities. A Masters in Liberal Arts (Humanities & Writing) graduate from St. Edward’s University (2007), Julio is known for his exceptional leadership and communication skills.
He serves on the Board of Directors for both the Puerto Rican Cultural Center and Measure, shaping initiatives that impact communities. One of his most rewarding accomplishments is witnessing students and volunteers apply their experiences from his organization, with notable alumni including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. A published author, Julio wrote the introduction to Third Reality Revealed and was honored with the Distinguished Award from his Pennsylvania high school in 2022.
Beyond his professional work, Julio is deeply connected to music (percussion and guitar) and folkloric dance, drawing inspiration from his father, an ordained minister. Looking ahead, he aims to strengthen his personal brand, expand start-up initiatives in the non-profit sector, and enhance networking opportunities to foster youth leadership in Latin America and beyond. Guided by commitment and cultural heritage, he continues to make a profound impact in leadership development worldwide.
