Launa Carbonell is an accomplished leader who directs an international center that serves as a home away from home for seafarers. She oversees daily operations, business development, grant funding and programs connected to cargo ship activity, all within a faith based mission focused on service and community. Launa holds an MBA from Barry University and works under a parent organization structured as a 501c3. Her commitment to giving back extends to volunteer work with Children’s Harbor which supports foster care youth. She is deeply proud of her three children and nine grandchildren and credits them as her greatest joy. Launa’s media presence includes features with Chick fil A and Eastern Airlines and she is currently writing her personal story titled Unstoppable which is expected for release in six months. Toastmaster certified and John Maxwell certified, she enjoys running, reading and cooking and plans to mentor students, support community programs and expand her speaking and book tour efforts.
