Michael L. Rombout is a seasoned professional in the defense industry, focusing on coaching, advising, and cybersecurity services. He has a distinguished background in leadership both in military and civilian sectors, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity.
Michael earned an Executive MBA from Washington University of St. Louis (2019-2021) and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at the same institution, expected to be conferred between 2027 and 2028. He holds ISC2 Coach certification in Information Security and Cybersecurity and is affiliated with ISC2 and Lindenwood for Coaching, focusing on Women in Cybersecurity.
His career spans 13 years of service in the United States Army, where he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant and held leadership roles including First Sergeant. Michael has been instrumental in leading soldiers, helping homeless veterans, and combating human trafficking. His voluntary work includes contributions to St. Patrick Center, USO, VFW, and American Legion.
Michael enjoys traveling and cooking, particularly Spanish cuisine. He is dedicated to his family and draws inspiration from his mother’s advice: “Audacity to be Overconfident.” His future goals include roles as CIO, CRO, and CISO, aiming to further his impact in the field of cybersecurity and leadership.
