Robert Belsky is a dedicated retail executive with more than four decades of experience in the grocery industry. Having started as a cashier 45 years ago, he now leads all aspects of operations, merchant planning and execution, leadership development, and merchandise and financial reviews for a regional grocery company employing over 8,000 people.

Robert directly supervises store managers and 10–12 direct reports, with plans to refine that number to 4–5 to increase efficiency and better develop his team. He takes great pride in mentoring employees and getting people promoted, believing strongly in recognizing effort and attitude, qualities he sees as essential, especially in the workforce today.

A trusted leader known for his grassroots approach, Robert works closely with the family who owns the grocery chain and credits his success to strong mentors throughout his career. He is proud of the positive impact he’s made on his team and plans to continue supporting their growth as he approaches retirement. Outside work, Robert enjoys quality family time and reflecting on how far he’s come and the lessons he can pass along to the next generation of leaders.
