Robert Day is a seasoned broadband professional with extensive experience in fiber optic technology and direct sales across the Southeastern region. A graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a degree in psychology, he combines technical knowledge with strong interpersonal skills to lead teams and drive results. Throughout his career, Robert has demonstrated exceptional negotiation and leadership abilities, notably serving as Nortel’s Chief Negotiator in the $8.6 billion procurement deal with MCI WorldCom. His industry affiliations include the Tennessee Broadband Association and the Fiber Broadband Association, reflecting his commitment to advancing broadband infrastructure. Recognized with honors such as the President’s Club and Salesman of the Year, He is respected for his integrity, work ethic, and dedication to continuous learning. Outside of work, he enjoys University of Tennessee football, card collecting, and visiting historical sites. Looking ahead, he plans to transition toward retirement while continuing to learn from fellow executives.
