As Chief Executive Officer of the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC), a national interdisciplinary healthcare nonprofit organization, Ms. Samuels leads strategic initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes through professional education, nationally accredited certification programs, clinical quality benchmarking initiatives impacting more than 9.5 million patients through over 640 healthcare facilities nationwide, workforce development, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Under her leadership, NCBC supports healthcare professionals and organizations across the United States through initiatives that advance quality care and improve the patient experience.
Her expertise spans healthcare strategy and operations, stakeholder engagement, healthcare innovation, technology integration, process optimization, regulatory compliance, risk management, financial stewardship, revenue diversification, strategic partnerships, and executive leadership. Throughout her career, Ms. Samuels has demonstrated exceptional leadership across diverse healthcare settings. Her professional experience includes serving as Director of Women’s Health, Breast Surgery, and Radiology Operations at Hoag Hospital, where she played a critical role in advancing women’s health services and operational excellence. She also served as Director of Business Development for DatCard Systems, Inc. and founded KSI Wellness, reflecting her entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to innovation and organizational growth.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Samuels has remained focused on creating meaningful impact through strategic leadership, clinical innovation, quality improvement, and organizational transformation. Her work has strengthened healthcare programs, enhanced patient experiences, supported professional workforce development, and contributed to initiatives impacting millions of patients nationwide.
In addition to her executive responsibilities, Ms. Samuels contributes to the advancement of healthcare credentialing and professional standards through her service on the Institute for Credentialing Excellence Education Committee Task Force. She is also a published thought leader, having authored an article featured in USA Today in December 2024 titled “Reclaiming Life After Breast Cancer: A Personalized Path to Survivorship,” which explored the importance of individualized support for cancer survivors.
