Katie Sokolik has dedicated her career to helping individuals and couples build healthier, more fulfilling intimate lives through education, coaching, and compassionate support. As the founder of Intimate Matters Coaching, she combines nearly two decades of experience in pelvic health rehabilitation with specialized sexual health education to provide clients with practical, evidence-informed guidance that empowers them to navigate intimacy with confidence.
Ms. Sokolik specializes in sexual health education, intimacy coaching, pelvic health rehabilitation, and holistic wellness. Working with individuals and couples, she provides personalized coaching, educational workshops, and public speaking programs focused on intimacy and aging, as well as navigating intimacy through pain and physical challenges. Her approach integrates nutrition, movement, mindfulness, communication skills, and education to help clients strengthen both their physical and emotional well-being.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Montana in 1997 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in counseling to further expand her ability to support clients. In addition, she has completed multiple certifications in sexual health education and life coaching, along with extensive continuing education programs that have strengthened her expertise in holistic sexual wellness.
After spending 18 years working in physical therapy with a focus on pelvic health rehabilitation, Ms. Sokolik recognized a significant gap between clinical pelvic health care and sexual health education. This realization inspired her to establish Intimate Matters Coaching, creating a practice that bridges the connection between physical rehabilitation and healthy, satisfying intimacy. Her unique background enables her to address concerns with both clinical insight and compassionate coaching.
Throughout her career, Ms. Sokolik has developed educational programs and workshops that help individuals better understand intimacy across every stage of life. She is recognized for creating a welcoming, judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics and developing practical strategies to improve their relationships and overall quality of life.
