As part of her initial employment agreement, she was required to obtain her special education certification by the end of her first year. Under the mentorship of diagnostician Dr. Thompson, Mrs. Samares developed a strong understanding of special education law, student documentation, testing procedures, and the decision making processes necessary to effectively serve students with diverse needs. This experience strengthened her ability to analyze complex information, remain highly organized, and make thoughtful decisions based on individual circumstances.
