Dr. Aarron C. Flowers, a distinguished fellowship-trained podiatrist renowned for his expertise in foot and ankle health, continues to make significant strides in the medical field. With a commitment to excellence and compassionate patient care, Dr. Flowers specializes in trauma, reconstructive and minimally invasive surgeries, diabetic limb salvage, and sports medicine.
A certified Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS) since 2022, Dr. Flowers currently works at Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group as a Foot and Ankle Surgeon/Podiatrist. He is also Chief of Foot and Ankle Surgery at Dignity Health Dominican Hospital.
A graduate of the University of California at Davis with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology, Dr. Flowers pursued his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Western University of Health Sciences where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was ranked 2nd overall in his class. He completed his podiatric residency at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara and a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery in trauma at Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Santa Cruz.
As a board-certified podiatrist, Dr. Flowers is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to his patients. He takes the time to thoroughly diagnose and create personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring the best possible outcomes. A highly sought-after professional, Dr. Flowers is a member of the Professional Affairs Committee (PAC) at the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group; a committee member of the DEI: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion group; and is the Vice President and Founder of Limb Care Foundation Inc, which is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization focused on promoting multidisciplinary approaches to limb salvage, function, and patient quality of life through education, advocacy, and outreach and providing prosthetic limbs to disadvantaged individuals and offering free clinics for amputees.
An accomplished Eagle Scout, Dr. Flowers is a published author touting a comprehensive student textbook for foot and ankle-specific pathology, surgical techniques, and board/interview preparation entitled Feet by Flowers. Dr. Flowers attributes much of his success to the mentorship and support he received throughout his career.
