Alfonso D. Kraft has spent more than 30 years inspiring and empowering individuals through his work as a motivational speaker, ordained minister, and nonprofit leader. As the founder of Positive Eagles Soar, a nonprofit organization established in 1994, Mr. Kraft has made it his mission to help people rediscover their self-worth and lead productive, fulfilling lives.
With a career rooted in service, Mr. Kraft has coached disabled veterans, individuals experiencing PTSD, and community members striving to build communication and interpersonal skills. His outreach has helped countless individuals manage personal challenges and take steps toward positive transformation.
Mr. Kraft holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees, one in interpersonal communications and personnel management from the University of Arizona and another in communication and media studies from the University of Kentucky. He is also a certified drug and alcohol counselor, with credentials earned from both the University of West Florida and the University of Arizona.
He has served as a volunteer chaplain at the Wilmington VA Medical Center in Delaware for 14 years and currently sits on the board of the YMCA. His commitment to public service is reflected in his ongoing support of charitable organizations and programs focused on community betterment.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Kraft has been honored with several civic awards, including the Delaware Governor’s Award in 2012 and the Racial Resolution Award, in recognition of his impactful contributions to social harmony and healing.
Mr. Kraft finds his greatest joy in his family life, sharing a close bond with his wife, Dolores Cromwell Kraft, their three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He continues to embrace each opportunity to lead by example, offering hope and encouragement to others through his speaking engagements and life coaching.
