He completed a residency in general psychiatry at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Penn State University/ Hershey Medical Center.
With offices in Stafford and Falls Church, Virginia, Dr. Altahir is the medical director of Altahir Behavioral Health and specializes in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders.
