Dr. Martin’s extensive background includes diagnosing cancers and unusual diseases, with a special interest in practice management and addressing disparities in physician payment. He currently serves as the Medical Laboratory Director for multiple medical centers, including North Sunflower Medical Center and Tallahatchie Medical Hospital.

Dr. Martin holds a BS in pre-medical studies and English from Emory University, an MD from Emory University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Tulane University. He also completed a fellowship in surgical pathology at Baylor College of Medicine and earned a JD from Duke University School of Law. His certifications include board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology and Medical Review Officer certification.
