Mr. Reid’s academic journey began at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with high honors before pursuing his Juris Doctor at the University of Oklahoma School of Law. He furthered his expertise with a Master of Laws from the University of Denver, solidifying his foundation in legal scholarship and advocacy. Mr. Reid also received his Legal Education Certificate in British Common Law from the Eugene Dupuch School of Law in the Bahamas.

With a profound dedication to social justice, Mr. Reid specializes in providing essential domestic and international legal representation to Indigenous nations and peoples and Native and environmental public interest organizations. His strategic insights and deep understanding of Indigenous peoples law and Earth jurisprudence have been instrumental in advancing legal frameworks that protect Indigenous rights and environmental integrity. His trial and appellate work on many controversial matters and complex litigation has resulted in over 50 often precedent-setting decisions.

At Reid Law LLC, where he serves as senior counsel, Mr. Reid combines his legal acumen with a passion for scholarship and teaching as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver and visiting professor at the Garifuna University (Belize).
