Cheng-Huai Ruan, MD — Distinguished Name in Internal Medicine

Bellaire, TX — Cheng-Huai Ruan, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Name in Internal Medicine for his outstanding work in the field and in recognition of his work as the Founder of the Texas Center for Lifestyle Medicine.

Cheng-Huai Ruan, MD, founded the Texas Center for Lifestyle Medicine four years ago, and has been in the medical practice since 2009. He is currently working as an Internal Medicine Physician and Integrative Health Coordinator. In his daily work, Dr. Ruan examines patients and then diagnoses them and treats their conditions or refers them to specialists for further evaluation. He works with patients who are thirteen years old or older to diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.

Prior to working at his practice, Dr. Ruan attended Texas A&M University, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology in 2005. Dr. Ruan next attended Ross University, where he graduated with his Medical degree in 2009. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Ruan founded Fitter Docs LLC in 2014, as a way for doctors to market their skills. His next company, Dust Off Diabetes, was founded in 2016 with the goal of reversing Type 2 Diabetes by utilizing food as medicine. Dr. Ruan began working as the Physicians Board Advisory Member and Strategic Business and Development Advisor for L-Nutra Inc., where he remains today. He has worked in many other clinical and executive roles in Texas and New York.
