Dr. Christine M. Estrada, a distinguished physician executive with a remarkable track record in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, is making a profound difference in patients’ lives with her transition to the role of the Associate Chief Medical Officer at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital in Kissimmee, Florida. Although she made her transition as a medical executive in February of 2025, she still serves as a mentor, executive advisor, and advocate for the teachings and practice of high-quality comfort and dignified patient care.

With over 18 years of clinical practice and advanced training from programs, such as Harvard Medical School’s Palliative Care and Education Program (PCEP), Dr. Estrada provides care that blends scientific rigor with deep compassion. She specializes in treating patients with serious illnesses—including dementia, cancer, COPD, and heart conditions, like congestive heart failure—focusing on symptom relief, emotional support, and enhancing quality of life during the most challenging times.

Dr. Estrada holds an extensive educational portfolio, including a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology (University of Washington), a DO degree (Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine), an MPH and MS in Biomedical Sciences (University of North Texas Health Science Center), and an MBA in Medical Management (UMass Amherst). She is board certified in both Family Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine and maintains unrestricted licensure in Nevada.

Most recently, she volunteered at a local food bank while in her new executive role.
