Dr. Cindy A. Okolo has established a strong presence in healthcare through her dedication to patient care across internal medicine, family practice, and critical care settings. With a background that includes extensive experience in intensive care units, she has provided care in medical, surgical, neurological, transplant, and cardiology environments, demonstrating a broad and versatile clinical skill set.
Dr. Okolo is recognized for her ability to deliver high quality, patient centered care across diverse healthcare settings. Her expertise spans internal medicine, critical care, family practice, and ICU nursing, allowing her to support patients with complex and acute medical needs while maintaining a compassionate and comprehensive approach to treatment.
Her academic achievements reflect her commitment to advancing her profession. Dr. Okolo earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Midwestern University in 2025, a Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practice from Governors State University in 2017 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chicago State University in 2007.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Okolo enjoys playing volleyball and basketball and values the support of her family, including her husband, Ugochukwu Egolum, MD, and her parents, Sidney and Victoria Okolo.
Looking ahead, Dr. Okolo plans to continue her work in clinical practice at Missouri Highlands Healthcare while also pursuing the development of a healthcare business alongside her husband.
