Having accrued 30 years of professional excellence in her field, Dr. Colleen Lloyd strives to give patients a better smile at Family Dental Care PLLC. She specializes in comprehensive dentistry for the entire family and provides unparalleled services to help her patients achieve superior dental health. She focuses her practice on good oral hygiene, bleaching, fabrication of crowns and bridges, implant crowns and the restorations of teeth. Alongside her son, Dr. Andre Lloyd, they provide a wide range of dental procedures for patients of all ages, including tooth extractions, fillings, partials or dentures, and the fabrication of dental veneers and implant services. They take pride in having welcomed patients across the United States of America as well as outside of the country for quality dental services. Collectively, Drs. Colleen Lloyd and Andre Lloyd have demonstrated the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and compassion, and have garnered commendable patients’ reviews.
In light of her academic achievements, Dr. Lloyd completed her undergraduate studies in Microbiology and later obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Howard University. Then she completed a residency program at DC General Hospital, where she subsequently was chosen to work in the dental office of the Chairman of the Dental Department.
Following in his mother’s footsteps, Dr. Andre Lloyd is also a graduate of Howard University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Radiologic Technology/Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery. He offers valuable experiences as a previous radiation therapist. They are both aesthetically focused making a smile a beautiful one that a patient is happy to show to others.
A proud mother, Dr. Lloyd has three sons. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and playing the piano.
Dr. Lloyd dedicates this honorable recognition to Dr. Linette Stuart, who was her mentor and one of her professors at Howard University, College of Dentistry.
