Pottsville, PA— Prominently featured in The Inner Circle, Cynthia Lubinsky, DO, CWSP, FACOFP, is acknowledged as a Pinnacle Life Member for her contributions to the field of Family Medicine.
Dr. Lubinsky pursued higher education at Pennsylvania State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medical Studies. She then attended West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine receiving a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine; completed a residency in family medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown, PA; and finished certification in wound care and hyperbaric medicine at Hyperbaric Medical Society in South Carolina.
A board-certified family physician and osteopathic manipulative medicine, Dr. Lubinsky explained that Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist, like Dr. Lubinsky, is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services and they examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
Touting her reputation for excellence and professionalism, Dr. Lubinsky is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). She asserted that the AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians (DOs) who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body (family physicians).
The doctor is also a successful author, publishing “Overcoming Infertility: A Personal Perspective” which details the ups and downs of infertility through the eyes of a medical professional as she navigates the difficulties that come with the process. She noted that the book illustrates what to expect through each step of the process from diagnosis to treatment options and all that can come along the way.
In consideration of her extraordinary success, Dr. Lubinsky notes that she is very open and honest about the physical and emotional experiences that are common when dealing with infertility diagnosis and treatment. She said that it is an extremely relatable story that anyone suffering from infertility will relate to, and for family members to help support the couple as they maneuver through the difficult journey.
