New Haven, CT – Douglas D. Silin, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Healthcare Professional in the field of Medicine for his role as a Radiologist with Yale New Haven Hospital.
Dr. Silin offers services at 20 York Street and 1450 Chapel Street, maintaining the Hospital’s values of experience, innovation, tradition, excellence, and optimism. The Hospital aims to enhance the lives of the people they serve by providing top quality, patient-centered care. In addition to Dr. Silin’s role at the Hospital, he serves as Assistant Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine. The school is known for its groundbreaking research and premier education.
A diagnostic, vascular, and interventional radiologist, Dr. Silin has more than 29 years of experience. He has extensive experience treating high-risk body locations and performing complex biopsies.
To prepare for his career, Dr. Silin attended Dartmouth College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science in 1985. He went on to earn a Doctorate of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1990. He then trained as an intern at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, a resident at Saint Vincent Hospital, and a fellow at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is board certificated in diagnostic and interventional radiology.
Remaining aware of advancements in his field, Dr. Silin is a member of the American College of Radiology and the Society for Interventional Radiology.
