Dr. Michael Walsh Gannon, Ph.D., LCADC, BCPCC — Distinguished Name in Christian Counseling

Franklin, TN — Dr. Michael Walsh Gannon, Ph.D., LCADC, BCPCC, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Name in Christian Counseling for his work in the field of Theology and in acknowledgment of his work at Glass Ceiling Christian Counseling.

As a former pastor for three decades, Dr. Gannon dedicated his career to helping people through times of crisis, marriage troubles, mental health issues, and drug and alcohol counseling at Glass Ceiling Christian Counseling and Daddy’s Love Ministries. He utilizes biblically-based counseling in order to help his clients. Dr. Gannon believes that with God’s help, everyone can battle their issues, including drug and alcohol addiction, infidelity, adolescent problems, relationship issues, and interpersonal issues.

Dr. Gannon first attended College of the Redwoods, earning his AA degree in 1983. He next received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations at San Diego State University in 1987. He then attended Christ for The Nations in Dallas, TX, where he graduated with an Associate’s degree in Pastoral Care & Counseling in 1992. Dr. Gannon attended the Trinity College of the Bible and Trinity Theological Seminary from 2000-2015, where he graduated with high distinction and Summa Cum Laude, and earned a Master’s degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biblical Counseling.

In addition, he is a DUI Assessor and Educator, a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), and as a former FBI Trained Hostage Negotiator, Dr. Gannon is certified by the Critical Incident Stress Management Foundation. He is a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC) at Glass Ceiling Christian Counseling.

Previously in his career, Dr. Gannon worked as the Maui Police Department Senior Chaplain, FBI Trained Hostage Negotiator, and as a Certified Red Cross Emergency First Responder. In executive roles, Dr. Gannon and has served as the Clinical or Executive Director for three non-profit organizations: City of Hope, Corner of Hope, and the Eternity Challenge.

Connected to faith and community, Dr. Gannon has ministered to hundreds of couples over thirty years as a Pastor. He often speaks at conferences focused on marriage restoration and healing wounded souls.

Dr. Gannon is an active member of the National Association of Drug Counselors (NAADC), the Church Growth International of America (CGIA), and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

In his spare time, Dr. Gannon loves to spend time with his wife and three daughters.
