Dr. Merlo earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of San Diego and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her family practice residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center/University of North Carolina. Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Merlo offers a wide range of services, including preventative care, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, in-house x-ray services, and dermatological biopsies.
