James P Grabowski – Vice President

James P Grabowski has built a distinguished career marked by innovation, leadership, and service across both the aeronautical engineering field and community based organizations. With more than four decades of experience as an aeronautical engineer, he led teams of engineers and staff in collaborative environments that encouraged innovation, professional development, and technical excellence.

Mr. Grabowski earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering from The Aerospace Institute in 1967. Over the course of his career, his expertise resulted in numerous United States and international patents, reflecting a lasting impact on the advancement of aeronautical engineering. As his career progressed, he further strengthened his leadership capabilities by earning a project management certificate, supporting his transition into broader project management and organizational leadership roles.

Following his engineering career, Mr. Grabowski continued his commitment to leadership and service as vice president of Mended Hearts Chapter 350 in Noblesville, Indiana. In this role, he remains dedicated to advancing heart health advocacy, education, and community engagement, extending his lifelong focus on helping others.

Civic involvement has long been central to Mr. Grabowski’s life. He volunteers at Riverview Health Hospital, where he has contributed more than 3,500 hours transporting patients and training new volunteers. Previously, he served as president of the Kiwanis Group, where he organized fundraising initiatives in collaboration with Noblesville High School students to support local children and community programs.

Mr. Grabowski’s service and leadership have been recognized with several honors, including the 2024 MHI National Award. He has also been honored by Mended Hearts with a Volunteer of the Year award and a Regional Award recognizing his innovative heart scan program.
