He is affiliated with several professional and community organizations, including the New Jersey and New York Bars and various synagogues. Additionally, he actively supports charitable causes such as Tunnel to Towers, St. Jude’s, and Mercy Ships as well as the ASPCA, and dedicates time to pro bono clients, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to the community.
Throughout his career, Mr. Donner has successfully represented numerous clients in high-stakes litigation, achieving notable changes in the law in cases such as Saffer v. Willoughby, which established the right to recover legal fees against negligent attorneys found to have committed malpractice, and Safer v. Pack, which addressed the duty of physicians to inform their patient’s relatives of their risk of contracting genetic disease.
