As former President of the Putnam County Economic Development Corporation, she played a key role in facilitating the development of International Distillery’s forty-million-dollar facility in Carmel, New York. For more than twenty years, she also owned and operated a marketing and direct mail firm, leading national campaigns and corporate programs for domestic and international clients.
Ms. Varricchio’s commitment to leadership & the community extends well beyond her professional career. As a rehabilitation counselor she brings compassion and insights to her work. She has served as Chief Advancement Officer for Independent Living and held leadership roles as chair of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement of the Hudson Valley. Her board service includes the SUNY Orange Foundation and the four county Dispute Resolution Center. She also served for twelve years as Chair of the New York State Administration Board of the Orange County Empire Zone, demonstrating a long-standing dedication to regional economic development.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern University and a Master’s degree from Springfield College. She is also a graduate of Leadership Orange, where she was honored as Leader of the Year in recognition of her impact and service.
