New York, NY – John K. Maesaka, M.D., is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Research Nephrologist in the Medical field with NYU Langone Health.
Nephrology is a specialty of medicine that focuses on kidney physiology, kidney disease, the treatment of kidney problems and renal replacement therapy. Dr. John K. Maesaka has been committed to the field of medicine as long as he can remember. In medical school at Boston University, he had great role models who exposed him to Nephrology. It was the perfect fit encompassing different organs. His research on Nephrological issues especially concerning Hyponatremia is based on firm science, because by far it is unquestioned, translating his research into real clinical treatments to help patients.
Dr. John K. Maesaka graduated from Boston University in 1961with his Medical Degree. Following earning his MD, Dr. Maesaka continued on to his Residency at Washington University – Barnes-Jewish Hospital, of Internal Medicine, finishing in 1963 and continuing his education and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, for Internal Medicine, completing in 1967. In pursuit of more knowledge to achieve his lofty goals Dr. Maesaka was invited back for a Fellowship at Washington University – Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Medicine-Nephrology where he finished in 1970.
