Katherine M. Barry Biles, CHCP, has established a distinguished career in medical education, recognized for her expertise in aligning educational strategy with healthcare innovation. She currently holds the position of Associate Director, Medical Giving and Partnerships at Servier US, a Boston-based pharmaceutical company. Prior to that, she founded and was principal consultant of KMGB Insights Consulting Services, LLC, where she provided strategic guidance to medical education providers and pharmaceutical organizations, supporting the development of impactful and compliant educational initiatives.

With more than 20 years of experience across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, Ms. Barry Biles has developed deep expertise in oncology and hematology strategy, as well as in rare disease, immunology, neurology, virology, and women’s health. Her work focuses on advancing independent medical education through effective grant strategy, proposal development, and outcomes assessment, ensuring that educational programs are aligned with therapeutic advancements and patient care needs.

Throughout her career, Ms. Barry Biles has played a key role in managing multi-million-dollar independent medical education grants, fellowships, third-party research awards, and sponsorships. Her ability to deliver actionable insights to cross-functional teams has contributed to the development of evidence-based educational programs designed to improve healthcare professional knowledge and ultimately enhance patient outcomes.

Prior to founding her consulting practice, Ms. Barry Biles held associate director level roles at leading organizations including Novartis, Regeneron, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, Celgene, and Bristol Myers Squibb. In these positions, she led support of independent medical education initiatives and collaborated across teams to support strategic healthcare objectives. Earlier in her career, she contributed to scientific research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and worked in publishing with W.W. Norton & Company in New York City.

Ms. Barry Biles holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of the Holy Cross and is a Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP). She remains actively involved in the field through her work with the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions, where she serves as Co Chair of the Benchmarking Committee and is a member of the editorial board of Alliance Almanac.
