Neil Menzies – Vice President of Sales and Estimating

Harrison City, PA— Prominently featured in The Inner Circle, Neil Menzies is acknowledged as a Top Pinnacle Professional for his contributions to the fields of Mechanical Contracting, HVAC, Plumbing and Service.

Mr. Menzies pursued higher education at Reading College in the UK where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction. He has numerous certifications including OSHA 30 certification; Dale Carnegie; FMI Leadership Courses; City and Guilds of London Institute Advanced Craft certificates in Construction Services; Welding for Oxy-Acetylene Welding and Metal Arc Welding; Craft Certificate in Plumbing; and Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing. He was also awarded the BTEC National Certificate for Building Studies; Grace Dearborn Certificate for Cooling Water Treatment; a Safety Train certificate for Manual Handling Awareness; and also holds OSHA 30 certifications. All of his credits from Reading College transferred to the United States solidifying his formal education. He is considered an expert in estimating sales and project management within the mechanical and construction industries, focusing on HVAC and plumbing.

With more than 38 years in the field, Mr. Menzies began his work in the mechanical Contracting business where he began as an apprentice plumber and welder in England and successfully ran his own plumbing company. Upon arriving in the United States, he launched his career as an estimator; project manager; estimating manager; and finally landing as the Vice President of Sales and Estimating for McKamish, Inc.

Mr. Menzies asserts that he considers his greatest accomplishments to be coming to the United States from England and creating his career path in the mechanical contracting industry. He noted that he has gained valuable knowledge working his way up the ladder which gives him invaluable experience in the industry. When considering his extraordinary achievements, he attributes his values, ethics, and hard work to his father, Henry Menzies, who rose from the coal mines to become Senior Vice President of 3M Corporation. The business professional also cites his mentor, Tim Mielke, Pre-Construction Director, as a significant influence in his career.

Mr. Menzies credits the support and encouragement from his wife and children as enabling him to be successful. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing with his wife and friends; spending time with his kids; and vacationing in the Bahamas. His future goals include continuing to grow the business and passing on his knowledge to the next generation while remaining dedicated to his family and personal values.
