Dr. Omar Wain works in General Surgery at Long Island Surgical PLLC, located at 2000 N Village Ave Ste. 211 in Rockville Centre, NY. He has been treating patients there for three years.
To begin his college education, Dr. Wain attended Stockton University, where he completed his undergraduate education. At the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, he graduated with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Next, Dr. Wain completed internships at the Peninsula Hospital Center and the Northshore Plainview Hospital. He gained further experience during a residency at the Flushing Hospital Medical Center, and was the Chief Resident in 2016. Dr. Wain later completed a fellowship in cosmetic surgery at the New Look New Life Surgical Arts Program. Dr. Wain is board-certified in General Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). The AOBS provides board certification to qualified physicians who meet the standards of quality healthcare in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Today, Dr. Wain works as a General Surgeon at Long Island Surgical PLLC. As one of three surgeons at the practice, he performs a wide range of general surgeries. This includes trauma surgeries, cosmetic procedures, breast augmentation, tummy tucks, liposuction, and injectables. General surgery focuses mainly on the abdominal area, including the stomach, esophagus, breasts, soft tissue, skin, bile ducts, liver, gallbladder, and more.

When he isn’t performing surgery, Dr. Wain enjoys volunteering with several charities. He has done volunteer work in the Philippines and has worked with Autism foundations. He loves to spend time with his family, including his wife Aysha, children Noor, Aiza and Ra’ed, and his parents Anjum and Samina. Dr. Wain speaks English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindu. Other hobbies include traveling the world and gardening.
