Having devoted the past 19 years in the medical field, Dr. Guzon is a highly trained and respected Cardiologist currently practicing medicine in private practice. He is licensed to practice medicine in Missouri, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. He offers a vast repertoire of extensive training and expertise in evaluating and treating high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, chest pain blockages in arteries, leg pain and swelling, shortness of breath, heart failure, and irregular heartbeat. As a highly sought-after speaker, he speaks regionally on cardiovascular disease and diabetes in patients with heart disease. In his current capacity, Dr. Guzon sees patients in three offices with Guzon Cardiovascular, LLC, and also works with Great Mines Health Center, a rural health clinic.

An academic scholar, Dr. Guzon completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science degree. His acclaimed career began after he completed a six-year program and obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Kansas City. Following graduation, he went on to serve his internship and internal medicine residency and completed both at St. Louis University-affiliated hospitals. Furthering his training, he completed his Cardiology fellowship at the University of Missouri (Columbia). With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Guzon is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Guzon is an active member of his community. He gained valuable experience serving as a board member of Sussex County ARC in New Jersey where he was named by the Herald Newspaper as one of the “40 under 40 ” notable county residents. He also devotes his time supporting organizations including, YourWords STL (www.yourwordsstl.org), a nonprofit founded by his wife, which provides tutoring, and brings special collaborations between varying socio-economic groups in St. Louis.
