ROBERTO MANNINO – ARTIST; EDUCATOR
Roberto Mannino is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Art Professionals. Roberto is an Italian/American Artist and Art Educator.
Roberto is currently a Freelance Artist and Art Educator at Temple Rome Campus, Loyola Rome Center, and Rome Municipal Applied Art School. In the past, he has also been a part of Cornell’s Rome Program. It is Roberto’s goal to build a connection between American Colleges abroad and those in the Italian Community.
Working mostly in Rome, Roberto has been active as an Installation Artist, Sculptor and Printmaker. Currently, Roberto’s focus is on the Papermaking Process. His expertise lies in the areas of Hand Papermaking Techniques, Woodcarving; Intaglio Printing, Drawing, and Paper Sculptures.
In addition, Roberto is a member of many prestigious Professional organizations, including the International Association of Papermakers and Paper Artists, Dolphin Press and Print Advisory Board, Rhode Island School of Design Alumni, Dieu Donne Organization, Comieco, and Hand Papermaking Magazine.
Roberto received his BFA in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design, as well as a Sculpture Diploma from Rome Academy of Fine Arts. He also holds a Printmaking Degree from the National Cabinet of Prints, located in Rome.
Looking ahead, Roberto hopes to continue to establish professional exchanges with galleries and curators in the United States in regards to Paper Arts.
